1.68" is my final total, although I haven't matched it to my manual rain gauge total yet. Excellent storm, especially considering it's only early November.

My total here in Orange from Sunday night to Tuesday night was 1.89", which is a very respectable total for an early November storm. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come later this season! Better yet, this is the 4th measurable rain I have received in Orange since late September.

This might your winter for rain down there.  Higher latitude blocking is causing a lot of suppressed jet scenarios.

Impressive chill for not even halfway through November. It was in the 40s overnight even at the beach.

Last year was pretty much dry except for the week between Christmas and New Year's Day.

Solar noon has fallen below 16 minutes too early in good old Greenwich.

Meanwhile it's the 20th consecutive day (of 21) that our solar noon is at 1934 UTC. 11:35 AM by Sunday and from there it moves forward faster each day, which is why we're within 8 minutes of our earliest sunset.

Adjusted my total to 2.07" per my manual rain gauge (which was empty before the storm) - a major difference of 0.39". Cross-checked my total with other local gauges within two miles on Wunderground - 1/2 mile west of me shows 2.12", 1/2 mile east of me shows 2.02". I'm exactly between them in both distance and precipitation amount. I've known my Davis rain gauge to underreport during windy storms, but I've never seen the difference this massive.
