It has me getting .5" of precip 6" of snow through Feb.

That would leave me -10.5" short of normal Jan - Feb precip which is normally 11"

and 77" short of normal snowfall for Jan and Feb. Lol

I will add that western WA doesn't have to always be above normal for precip forever.    Its been drier over the last month, but that was after a very wet period before that.    Seattle had the wettest fall in history... as did other locations in western WA and SW BC.

Yep... today is the 3 year anniversary of the epic snowstorm that left our area completely buried in almost 4 feet of snow.    3 years ago tomorrow we managed to make it out through a one-lane tunnel along our road and weave through many abandoned semi trucks on the service road below our house and on I-90 between NB and Snoqualmie Parkway to get to SEA for our flight out.  It was like a scene right out of The Day After Tomorrow.

12z EPS: Now back to your regularly scheduled La Niña programming. Won’t break any cold records, but maybe it’ll prevent the West from spontaneously combusting.

CPC day 8-14 analogs no longer show dryness north of the Siskiyous. Looks like a typical NW flow signature. Wet in Mossmanistan and hopefully the Oregon Cascades, dry in the basin and probably the Willamette Valley.

Found another place where the ECMWF has a cold bias.    It's been running 5-10 degrees too cold here in Palm Springs all week.

For example... it showed 82 for today and it was already 88 at noon.     Tomorrow it shows 76 but the official forecast shows 87.    It will be around 87 tomorrow.   The forecast on my phone has been dead on accurate all week.

Maybe not... but it is interesting to me that its not just related to the Puget Sound region.     The ECMWF seems to just have a cold bias overall.
