Should be able to stay below 40 again today…probably a hair warmer than yesterday but we should have a 37/21 temp range roughly today pretty impressive. We will see how tonight works out…and hopefully early March is interesting too.

Bottomed out at 24.1 and starting to climb back up. 25 now.

Kinda disappointing compared to some of the figures the rest of you were getting in areas I'd like to think I'd do as well as.

True but I'm jealous of the cooler temperatures you all get in July or August when it is 110F here.

With this dry air mass, going to be tough to get whatever miniscule moisture there is, to the ground.  I'm sure schools will shut down though.

NWS Spokane had better get on it as well. The snow zone for that map as is about half of their forecast area.

Not a good time for our Hermy folks to have their grocery store destroyed by fire. Hope everyones OK. Have to wonder if the cold contributed in some fashion.

That is actually a food processing plant so not a grocery store, but yeah 9 degrees out there this morning.

First temp in the teens since the 2016-17 winter.  Nice to break the streak. This was the longest amount of time between temps in the teens here on record.

Solid A. Only thing we didn't manage was a sub-freezing high. But we had 10" of snow plus our coldest low in over 5 years. Tremendous for here.

How much snow on the season, Randy?

I didn’t keep track of each snowfall in December but I’m guessing somewhere between 20-25” or so for the season.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Bottomed out at 21°F here. brrrrrrrrrr

Only nights that were colder this winter were 17°F on Dec 28th and 20°F the day prior (going by KSEA data, which from memory was pretty on the dot for my location)

KSEA is running -1°F on the month now with yesterday's 35/27 day in the books. That negative monthly departure actually means something for the month of February since the recent Pheb magic has reverted 1991-2020 normals for that month back to (roughly) what they were in the 1971-2000 mean. That -1°F is down from -0.5°F w/o the 35/27 day in there.

With a high of roughly 37°F, KSEA should come in around roughly -15°F below average with a 37/23 spread. Gunning for a -10°F or so departure for tomorrow as well. -2°F on the month seems like a good bet, maybe a bit chillier.

Call it a pipe dream but the 12z ICON brings soaking rains into NorCal Wednesday next week. GFS is much less amplified with that trough. Hoping for the former.

No teens but made it down to 23 this morning which is pretty impressive considering it never fully decoupled kept at least a light breeze most the night

Wind has picked up again late this morning temp is holding at a chilly 31. Will be interesting to see what places can pull off another sub-40 high today
