Today is anniversary of Portland's coldest day on record. The HIGH temperature was 14 on December 30th, 1968 with a raging east wind and heavy snow. It only made it to 19 on the 31st! 1968-69 was a severe winter in the PACNW. I was born 5 months later, so no memory unfortunately pic.twitter.com/Jx5bQSdb5R
