I hope it won't be too long. But I'm pretty fatigued about missing that event and also a few others by being out of town. If you want it to snow a lot, just buy me a ticket out of town and it will possibly deliver.
I know this won't be popular for several members, but I really can't stand inversions. Fog gets old after about one day and there is no sun to be seen and it is colder than it should be. The mountains often roast away our snowpack during that time and only Andrew and Tim see the sweet nice sunny weather with no wind. On the other hand, I've been able to completely freeze up a full wheelbarrow full of water to ice on several occasions during what would otherwise be a warm pattern. A giant icecube odd, neat, quite satisfying, and can last for many days.
Of course a cold inversion after snowfall (pretty rare) is always fantastic.
