Brrrrr! Currently 7 degrees with a wind chill of -4 after a low of just 3. Heading to a high around 20 today. Winter is here!

Chilly today but turning colder tomorrow with a reinforcing cold front later today. We could see a couple light snow flurries today. High temperatures both Saturday and Sunday are just a few degrees above freezing. Temperatures will remain well below normal all week with snow chances increasing by Wednesday night into Thursday morning with the approach of an Alberta Clipper system.

Yup! Gotta see how it tracks this time bc it may be farther south and may bode well to pump more PAC moisture into the pattern.

Woke up to winter here with about 1/2" OTG (and not melting). Snow continues to fall on/off. Looks like a nice Christmas morning actually. Hopefully nature's not up to its old trick of swapping holidays tho. Heading to Motown for some BF shopping. Not so much for sales, just happens I have a paid holiday and my wife is missing her big city shops ofc. I was up first and when she came out and looked out the window she said "Oh! winter!". Guess it is time to update my signature and create my snow log for the 2024-25 season. Always a fun project.

If memory serves me right that cutoff low went right over the top of you in cycle 1.
