I grabbed hour 234 from each model from tonight. Each has some version of the low at that time. The Canadian model not so much. Hopefully this could be the start of a cooler pattern for us and the start of building our snow pack 🌨

Been a theme of blocking remaining a bit too far west and not phasing in a manner which shuts down undercutting Pacific influence. Shortwave activity then digging off SE Alaska has an excellent opportunity to interact with the Pacific jet and intensify. Models will look different in a few days.
