The initial wave yesterday ended up further south than the models predicted which definitely cut into Brookings and surrounding areas overall totals. MSP should be in a good spot to take advantage of this second wave as it cranks up and heads east over the course of today. I think yesterday didn't pan out quite as expected over there, similar issue to Brookings, but hopefully both spots can make up some ground today/tonight.

Well seeing I'm trying to get out of here, I can definitely say I'm not looking forward to it! haha

12z GEM and GFS are almost identical for FSD over the next 24 hours. They show about 4-5 inches by 6PM, 6-7 by 12AM, and both end up around 10 inches by tomorrow morning.

On another note, looks like the FSD radar is back up thankfully. With the strong winds it's hard to tell what is falling snow and what is blowing snow but radar obviously helps nail things down a bit better.

I'm in Brookings for work this week.  Seems like they definitely backed off totals here, but going to be hard to measure anything. They started dropping roads gates I see.  I live about an hour east of MSP, so far totals are holding a little better there for now.

  3. Let it go NEJeremy, go check out a third world country. It will allow you to realize how good you actually have it... He won because people are tired of the system in place, you should be too. This is weather board, not a political rant forum. Stay on FB for the drama. You are lucky enough to be part of a country that allows you to bash the next leader of the nation... heard if goes over well in North Korea and Russia.
