No point in arguing. Mother nature will do what she wants no matter what the models say. Lol. I say the low tracks some where between florida and canada.

LOT must be very patiently/frantically waiting.
forecast says
up to an inch tomorrow with gusts to 35
less than an inch tomorrow night with gusts to 35

what to believe. what to believe.... rpm/skilling looks good for about 5-6. noa graphic looks good for about 2-3.. point forcast says 1.5. other models suggest 1-10.
trends have been more northwest for the deformation band on the larger storms.
told you guys not to get me excited about this one dam it... lol

If ORD manages to squeeze 2"+, it'll bring the snowfall for the season to about average.
maybe for the airport. but im only sitting at about 18-19" here currently.
-
well with any luck, this might get me past 20" for the season. lol
didnt the last couple of larger storms in the area end up with the snow expanding further northwest of the low. and the last couple of storms ended up tracking more north didnt they?
-
please dont get me excited about another possible storm. lol. its been such a rough winter already. kinda ready for spring. took the spotter class last week. but either way i would love to get some more snow. money has been slow this winter.
-
You only had 40" for the winter of 2007-2008! That doesn't seem right. I think all areas north of I-80 had at least 50" that winter.
this is only set to current date today, not whole season. so as of this point in the season 07/08 we had 40"

Ya, Euro seems to be the weakest link with this one. NAM is also sorta trend weaker. 06z GFS looks pretty healthy but I'm not expecting more than 2-4" with the first wave.
As I write this, 12z GFS coming in similar to the 12z NAM.
I think parts of SD/S MN/IA will end up getting the best totals from this system. Certainly weakens as it heads east but still enough to produce some advisory snows over here which would be a top 2 snowfall for the city of Chicago this winter. That is saying something for how this Winter has been in the city proper.
yes it would be nice. this is my total for the year so far. arboretum is 2 min from me.

well i was excited for this clipper. looks like another non event here again though.
