Nah. Never snows in Bonney Lake, or the rest of Puget Sound. Sorry
Uhm no... lol! I love these circle jerk statements ... You said that not me! Such a typical passive aggressive statement. It does snow here silly... we also get missed to. We shall see what happens next and I am skeptical, but I never said it would not happen.
yes I love snow, yes this last event was disappointing, and honestly really disappointing for Oregon and I feel for you all down there. I hope this potential delivers and you get dumped on! I want everyone to score!!!

But Buddy never gets upset. You could use more syrup in your spaghetti.
It had Been a bad blood sugar, crashing winter so far. Your location has gotten plenty of white sugar goodness so you should be happy. So share some of that sugar with Buddy.

Did you not have a cold / snowy Feb last winter? To read your posts one would think not. In recent years we also did very well with the Christmas snow in 2017 and the Feb snow in 2018. But hey....it never snows here.
Yep, been year after year after epicness and nothing else! How dare I even think other than that! Forgive me for offending you!

March 8th 2019!
For u.. you live in friccken snow zone Mecca! What you get there is not what 90% of us lowlanders do not. You my friend are in a exceptional spot.

...you had some crazy totals less than a year ago. Like, major snowstorms back to back with crazy accumulation.
Uh... I am not talking about last year... I am skeptical and butt hurt about this year... last year was great! I got 8 to 9inches all in. Lots of day time melting though, it was just due to the late season when it happened. It was very nice event last year. The Long moderate cold was nice!
-
Yeah well there’s 29 days in February...we can only see what might happen the first couple days of the month. I remember it was still snowing in many places in early March last year...lots of time left.
Lol! Okay, and like I do not know this? Lol ... thanks.
Do not be offended, for me March snow that melts by noon is a total waste of time. my opinion only. I love snow that you can actually enjoy not a slopfest ... again my personal preference only and nobody else I am sure. I am weird that way in seeing things staying white and even frozen for more than 8 hours. I know weird! Sorry!

we’ve just gotta wait and see. Still plenty of time for snow to fall this winter...February hasn’t even started yet.
Been through this more times than I can count and will not predict the outcome, but am still not seeing enough to get excited about, AND honestly I am bitter and butt hurt about the last event being a total bust here. So much promise too! The near term looks borderline at best, and the good stuff is not even in the believable range. The near stuff is just cold rain here at best.... I am beyond skeptical!!
-
The last Time the gfs showed something cold 15 days out it kinda happened.
Not for many... you did well, but south of Seattle it was not even close to as promised. So, we shall see.
-
You act like it's never got cold and snowed here or it can't happen. February 2019 was years and years ago.
Yep!
-
Details fall apart at 384 hours. Its over.
Oh don’t be silly! It will fall apart and be over 3 days before it is modeled to occur, as usual... will be epic until then.
-
Climo will win out.
Why do long range solutions always show the non climo patterns?
We fall for it every time
I so hear you... it amazes me people do the same stuff over and over... that being said this is not a real promising pattern... two or three days of moderate mid to upper 30’s, snowless cold is not all that exciting. Lol!

Sometimes things that don’t look so great can turn good.
We shall see...

Last event had a lot of hype.
Yep... so true! but looked a heck of a lot better than this.
-
Yeah too bad it doesn’t show stagnant split flow...Now that was some weather excitement right there!!! WOW!!!
Lol ... true! I am just commenting to snowwiz why people are not in here thrilled. Pretty run of the mill. Just sayin... and no snow for most. Might as well be split flow IMHO.

ECMWF shows low 40s on Sunday... near 40 on Monday... and in the mid to upper 30s on Monday in the Seattle area.
The SW part of King County and Pierce County get shadowed. Which happens frequently in this type of situation. So even if the ECMWF verified... you might not get much snow. Of course details can change.
THIS is exactly what I was seeing and so normal meandering useless cold. People will barely notice it.
-
I could care less whether people think this is worth getting excted about or not, because it is. I refuse to get into the glum mindset that so many people insist on.
Who is glum?
-
Why not try looking at the models?
I have! Not seeing much to get excited about looks less promising than the last event. Bring on a 1/4 inch of snow and a couple days of cold. I will get excited when it shows something in a believable range of 3 days or less.
-
The coming colder weather.
You mean moderate cold to normal weather!? Gripping! People should be piling in at any moment to express their excitement for the unusual and epic event on our door step that is 7 to 10 days away...
-
Is this a bad omen?
Nah! It is a just a pointy nosed black tail iguana. Did you not see the warnings??!!
-
It's beginning to look like the chances are pretty decent this will be our 4th consecutive Feb to have some legit winter weather. That would be a pretty nice achievement. It will be interesting to see if the Puget Sound lowlands can pull off their 4th straighht Feb to have a monthly average below 40. That hasn't happened in about 100 years.
You are really stretching to even say that and keep a straight face... I am not sure what you are seeing to say that... ??

00Z ECMWF just completely took away the snow on Super Bowl Sunday.
This is what we should have been expected all along. Climo rules!
-
Snow.
Lol! Like that will verify <_ src="%7B___base_url___%7D/uploads/emoticons/default_laugh.png" alt=""> ... snow maps have been crap this far out.
-
It was pretty much right about the bout of winter that happened in northern WA last week. At this range you look at the big picture stuff, and just have to wait and see how the details play out.
YAH. The GFS nailed the past event for our region this far out... <_ src="%7B___base_url___%7D/uploads/emoticons/default_huh.png" alt=""> See screen shot. WE all know how it turned out. NOT! We shall see, but I highly expect whatever we are seeing now will be highly watered down 2 days out OR just non-existent. (This is reverse weather psychology... shhh don’t tell the weather gods or iFred).

How did the 00z ensembles look?
Colorful, but overall there were up’s and down’s.
