Severe weather may choke the moisture up north in our area as well.

I have done that on every storm and i just got even more upset lol. Not worth it. I will still be watching obviously but not holding my breath. Best thing to hope for is convection to rapidly cool the atmosphere locally

It's possible. But I just dont know how a sliver of above freezing temps can stick around over us while everyone around us is at freezing. Time will tell.

The ECMWF is absolutely devastating for Omaha/Lincoln peeps.

At this point I would probably go 3-6 inches for Omaha folks. A number I would be happy with.

It moved a county or two west for us far eastern Neb folks. Overall not much change from 12z but even a county shift will make a big difference here.

Gfs is worse. The snow accumulations just went back way west.

GEM looks like a miss to the south with Mondays system. At least south of Nebraska.

Well the GFS went even further north for Saturday lol. Personally I would rather have the storm missing by a whole lot then by a few counties. So the further away the better

For whatever reason this storm wants to go north when we have blocking and a -NAO and a perfect track for a snowstorm over the entire state of Nebraska. Even when you have things perfectly lining up for a good one...it doesn't happen. Hopefully something changes, but I dont think It will.
