You guys scored on the last batch of snow this morning. How much did you pick up in total? I think we officially have a little over an inch. The landscape is all white around here so I guess that is a bonus! Ha!

I’d guess a solid 5 inches or so between yesterday noon and right now, that’s just a guess though by looking at it, we’ve had some wind that’s blown things round a bit.

Still snowing here, though seems to be the last bit of it rolling through. Definitely would put this one in the win column.

Coming down here again - pretty heavy.

I’m definitely feeling some Nebraska pain right now - hoping it is just a passing malady.

My gut tells me this is going to over perform - we’ve had a lot of under performers so you’d have to think eventually the law of averages is going to catch up. At times we are getting some nice bursts of snow.

We got a solid three inches of heavy wet snow west of Milwaukee - came hard and fast last night.

Just got pelted by BB sized hail for about a minute straight...#JanuaryChiWx

We got some pea-sized hail here and some thunder - now the shift to snow overnight, crazy evening, we will see what we get snow wise.

Excellent! You should get a couple hours of this stuff. In fact, the bands building up again farther north has my attn. looks a lot better than what the models were showing.

I saw that too - this band seems to be moving fairly leisurely too which is nice.

You guys are going to do real well up there, esp if the lake works its magic.  I've been waiting a few years for a clipper like this one to show up in our area that takes this track through N IL.  Ideally, for MBY, I'd like it to track a tick south but I'm not greedy.  Good luck up there!

I sure hope so - the Advisory says 5-7 and a nice long duration event. I’m thinking we are going to have a fun day and a half or so here, but I’m still a little nervous about being let down, but the trends are all moving in the right direction - always like seeing increased totals as it’s closer rather than the opposite but I think we’ve underperformed here this year from predicted totals. I guess all we can do is wait.

Am I missing something?  I had the sense the models were trending wetter here, not drier?

Niko, I better see some pics today! Hope all those in MI/WI who scored from this clipper are doing better snow wise and got their first accumulating "snow fix" outta the way.

We got about 2.5 inches or so over the course of the day - one of those light accumulation days but snowed off and on all afternoon and evening. Wish it was six or seven but it looks great out there and very festive!

This thing has been slow and steady for us - not big accumulations but I thought we’d be all done by now.

Snow came back here about an hour or so ago - nice fat flakes and coming down at a medium clip. Otherwise this morning was a bust around here.

Cold day on tap here - we may struggle to get out of the teens.

Light snow here right now - they are suggesting 2-3 inches in a Madison to Milwaukee swath this afternoon. We’ll see of course.

This system is one of those that teases you in the beginning of the season. I feel ya! You may get swiped by another band forming offshore of Sheboygan.

Yeah - this one is moving just to the west of me by about two miles! Talk about a tease! Looks nice out there though even still.

Yeah, we got about half an inch and then it stopped and picked back up from the lake - wasn’t expecting that - not much all told but nice to see.

They're giving us a couple of inches tomorrow evening into Saturday morning - some flurries floating around right now just to help get us in the mood.
