LOL I just saw them lower the snow totals for my area based on their graphic from 12-15" to 10-12" ! They should up them per the latest GFS lol.

Wind Profiles, according to Jim, show wind gusts in excess of 40mph tomorrow.

WOW latest WGN shows 10.4-14" everywhere!

LOT thinks lower totals for tonight went from 16" to 14" at the high end for my point and click. I'm happy with 14" trust me

Snow rapidly forming in front of the cold front in IA/WI. Looks like it's intensifying as well. Looks like NE IL is rapidly changing over as well. Still looks like some mixing issues even between the I-88/I-80 corridor for now.

LOT said it would have mixing issues the further South you go but I'm also wondering the same. It's 34 right here now and last time I checked on radar it looks like there is a pocket of rain over the Southern burbs but it's transitioning just to the N and W of that. Hopefully it'll start snowing for you soon.

Can verify this just got back from driving home from Lake Geneva. temps are 35 and falling there and 38 here!

Yep. Looks like LOT is buying into the LES starting to crank tomorrow night. WSW until 6 a.m. Monday. Highest totals for point and click are 16" that would be crazy!

LOT increased to 12-14" for most of the lakeside counties. NW IN onward looks to get hammered, I wouldn't be surprised to see some 18" amounts. Seems like a general 10-14" across the whole area.

How are the temps looking? I'm worried that it may be too warm... I'm at 34 right now, that latest precip. looks crazy hopefully it'll all fall as snow. Even if we loose some to cold rain there is an abundance of precip so I'm still hoping for 8-10" maybe more.

Definitely agree Scott, I think LOT will upgrade Western portions of the area go a BW if e eveytjing goes to plan.

Getting hammered right now and it's back building all the way to Kansas! Have around an 1" down, same pathway for almost all the bands looking like I'll get a solid 3"

It would be crazy if LOT issued a Blizzard Warning later tonight. Seems like the wind chills dropped again also and my temp was lowered. Should be some fun time ahead tonight!

It looks like it's back building in middle to upper WI.

I'd be happy with an 1" but hopefully I could squeeze 2" if everything sets up right! I'm just glad I can stay home and watch it tomorrow!
