    I hate this so much. Snowing to my north and south. CZ split up and left DT Everett in the screw zone.

    This CZ has to be up there in the all time wasted potential CZ’s.

    That’s right over my house lol. Still raining up there currently. Need temps to drop really soon for that to somewhat verify.

    Yep. Raining at home now. The dusting has already melted away.

    Apparently it’s 39 degrees at home so we wouldn’t get much out of what’s coming down right now. Worried this will be our only precip and then it’ll be too dry by the time it actually gets cold enough.

    Liking the look of the radar right now. Things have picked up and looks like a dusting at home now. Screw the HRRR

    CZ looks promising but as of snow still just wet slop falling at home

    Some snow starting to pop up around Skagit/Whatcom county. That might be the start of the actual Arctic front snow. Meanwhile the wife reports some very wet snow is starting to come down at home as the CZ has moved north a bit.

    This loop gives me hope it’ll move a little north to DT Everett.

    Yeah we’re both too far north right now. Hopefully these showers expand a bit. Same thing as last year right now, my house is about a single mile north of the CZ.

    In laws in Mill Creek have light snow sticking to all surfaces. Bone dry here in Edmonds and my home in Everett

    Getting flashback to last year when a CZ formed 1 mile south of my house and dropped 2” of snow and I got skunked. Looks to be forming in a similar area

    ECMWF showed a widespread 3-4” with that arctic front and that’s about what most of us got. A deformation band formed over the north/central sound that dropped an additional 4-6” after the initial front later that night.

    I’m seeing some signs of a c-zone or just a band of precip trying to form around Everett right now. In Edmonds at work right now but will keep my eyes glued to the radar throughout the day

    One week ago right now we were about to witness one of the greatest Euro runs of all time. If we only knew what would actually end up happening. Truly a sad time.

    Yep I’m about ready to wave the white flag on this one. Have fun Portland!! That’ll be a super fun and memorable event down there.
