Just like the nam showed then. -

That low the NAM shows developing tonight off the northern tip or WA and sliding southeast is a very nice surprise and has been something I was hoping for, as that is not unusual with a setup like this. They can be very nice snow producers for the sound -- AND even the swamp. -

Yeah was drizzle in Bonney Lake a while ago. Amazing how 500 plus feet means nothing in the swamp. -

Off and on drizzle here now. Very light though. Most of my snow has melted. -

After a snowless night I started getting snow a little after 5am. ended up with a 1/4 inch. I am satisfied. -- As I stated in my 4am post, the convergence zone never made it down to my area, and fizzled. Thank goodness I still have southwest winds as that is the only thing that could have brought offshore moisture into my area. I am expecting highs in the mid 30's today. -

We are still exposed to an ever increasing southern wind here. The good news is that might induce some wrap around moisture coming off the ocean to give us south Sounders a small chance of spotty melting snow. worth watching over the next few hours. The Arctic front totally failed and never even got close to our location. Only cold offshore wind more or less came in like a kitten/cold air trickle. Basically an epic bust up to this point from about Kent to south to Tacoma. Models got this one 100% right up to this point. -

Just like I tried to tell Jim — No snow for the south sound and the convergence zone was and did dissolve. Jim sorry man but you really need to take off the rose colored glasses to see things a bit more clearly sometimes... Sorry south sounders but we totally got missed, this time. maybe the next round. Bummer! -

I love Christ and snow. Which we will not see in bonney lake tonight. -

The models showed it hanging there. It will not be a factor for the central sound. -

are you watching the radar? That is not a robust convergence zone, but a dwindling one. Lol! What am I missing? -

It will not work out that way... it will hang there and fizzle. Just like models showed. -

To bad moisture will be gone for us down south. Looks dry along the boundary in the central, the stuff northwest will no impact the central sound. -

I am not seeing that at all. It is not reorganizing it is just falling apart. Seen this many times before. I hope I am wrong but it is definitely decaying rapidly. -

I am feeling a bout 90% confident the convergence zone is petering out. It might make it down to my area as a dusting whimper. -

I am feeling pretty convinced the convergence zone will completely devolve before getting to the south sound. It is already weakening. D**n!
