The CPC only uses the GFS model and says f*ck it for their forecasts?! One can assume you’ve actually seen their forecast methods or are you being just another social media expert like for example all the Facebook and YouTube COVID experts?

SPC might go moderate risk tomorrow and I'm thinking about chasing. I've only ever been in northern Missouri. What's the terrain like in western Missouri south of Kansas City?

I don't remember a single winter weather forecast here that wasn't going to be epic, things never seen before, and proof of the next ice age coming. In fact this fall was supposed to start fast back in SEPTEMBER!! Now we're begging for the first snows before November and some of us haven't even had our first freeze, much less if we have it was in the top 5 for latest, and then you're ragging on the CPC for a 5 day stretch. It's funny how triggered people get about the "main stream media" picking on you, yet never have seemed to show the proof or political gain why the folks at NASA, the CPC, and the vast majority of scientists on the globe are in agreement. Lemme guess, it's bc they all have stocks in wind turbines?

Made it down to 30.4 IMBY last night. Definitely not a killing freeze though as you can see how the temps jumped around and didn’t stay below freezing for very long. Looking forward to the severe weather chances next several days!

Already down to 35.2 this evening. Would think it would be pretty hard to not hit freezing tonight but any cloud cover or breeze always throws havoc on overnight temps.

Our color has really exploded this week even with the warmer weather. Would love to have a drone our something where I could see the color across the city from high up

Both 12Z model runs of the GFS and Euro show eastern Nebraska well into the 80s next Tuesday. Meanwhile that's a pretty looking sounding for severe weather chances this coming Sunday in southwest Iowa. Might have to go chasing!

They may be too warm, but they haven't been horribly wrong either considering eastern North Dakota just had it's top 5 warmest start to October ever.

Definitely not the fast start to fall predicted. How about 20-30 degrees ABOVE normal to start November?

Dropped to 35.2 IMBY this morning. Wife broke down bc the kids were cold and turned on the heat for the first time this season to warm it back up to 68 inside.

Added to the frost advisory for eastern Nebraska tonight. Might finally be time to pull in my Hibiscus tree, but only for tonight and tomorrow night as it warms right back up again

I would have to say today is the first day it truly felt like a fall day. We've had some mornings that were just as chilly as this morning (40 degrees), but today it's struggled to make it to 60 and there's been a chilly NW breeze all day. A few leaves are finally starting to fall as well. 12Z Euro with exactly 0.00" of precip for eastern Nebraska the next 10 days and highs 20-25 degrees above normal again by the end of the run. 12Z GFS is a little more generous with about 1/4-1/2" of precip next 16 days with most days above average through the end of the month.

12Z GFS shows after the next couple of days of BN temps, it warms right back above normal. There is that shot of colder weather 21st-25th with potentially a nice system, then it's right back to way above normal to end the month. Once we're in November you can hardly call that a fast start to fall that's for sure.

12Z Euro seems to match up with the CPC pretty darn good for the 20-26th. Euro only goes out to 24th at this point, but you see a lot of red.

77, sunny, and almost no wind today. Another top 10 day. Makes it hard to work from home in my basement.... So far averaging almost 8 degrees above average and have only had .04" of rain this month.
