  1. September 20th, is the last day of 7PM sunsets or later for my area due to being slightly further north and west in the time zone.
  2. 10 days from now will the Autumn Equinox, That is when my interest from wanting to see hot weather in Summer (lol, not this year) to cooler weather with some rain for the Autumn season
  3. The Marine layer is now spreading into the South Coast. The SB south coast is covered in fog and the eastern edge has hit the Palo Verde area.
  4. The Central Coast is the only spot on the whole west coast seeing the marine layer clouds.
  5. The shallow but entrenched Marine layer still engulfing the Central Coast.
  6. That marine layer by the Central Coast has literally been there all summer long.
  7. Today is the first time since March 31st that the Sun Angle is below 60° in the sky in Orcutt.
  8. I spoke too soon, the stupid marine layer has came back again. Ugh what a tease! We need a big pattern change to get rid of this dam marine layer that has entrenched itself all late Spring and Summer on the Central Coast.
  9. The marine layer cleared right before sunrise this morning and it's finally sunny right now! I hope it stays this way.
  10. Cooler, but still reasonable 77F today. Lots of mid level clouds and also some pop up thunderstorms in the Carrizo Plains.
  11. The marine layer clouds are already dissipating and I see lots of mid level clouds.
  12. There was dense fog last night, but the marine layer clouds are higher this morning.
  13. Checkout the epic durianl range in Elko, NV, Few days ago they had a low of 39F to a high of 95F!
  14. Dew Points have fallen to the 40's in Tucson. The Monsoon season is coming to end in just a few weeks.
  15. Just be thankful that we don't live in Morro Bay. They only had a high of 64F with the marine layer lasting almost all day.
  16. Today the high was 83F, which is a several degrees warmer than expected. First time it reach above 80F since August 14th and hottest temp since July 9th which saw a high of 87F. Finally seeing some nice warm weather for once!
  17. The Marine layer was very shallow today on the Central Coast and the visibility was under 0.25 mi. During the Noon hour for the 5 minute updates, it looks like it went up to 82F unofficially for the Santa Maria Airport. Dew points are high again today. It does help that the Santa Maria Airport is 12 miles away from the ocean.
