You are so hot and cold.
You say glowing things about me and tell me you love me and I am such a good person... and then say crap like this.
I can bring up at least 10 posts from last night when I was being encouraging... because the reality is still a very interesting period of weather with numerous opportunities to track.
I think people just need an enemy sometimes. Seems to be human nature.
Ok, one more time. People are not looking for warm maps right now. They are going to irritate some people. I realize they are just "what the models are showing", but they are still bad news. Some people are sore. I am not so. Life goes on.
Those maps can be just as wrong as the ones posted 6 hours ago.

Watching this is quite entertaining. You can see reoccurring patterns among members here that you can predict based on model runs.
And, the funniest sheet is that nobody actually knows where it's gonna snow, or if. I am pretty happy that we have a chance for some different weather. A nice white coating outside for a couple of days and the excited people that go with it sound like a lot of fun. About a hundred times funner than anything else this winter. But, I don't care about stats.

Lol and why are you trusting the models that far out at this point?
Salt in wound. That's all I'm sayin.

Yeah, you Western WA people should be just fine and dandy like usual. Same can’t be said for this garbage city.
We are all free to live where we want. I wasn't born here, but it's what I wanted as far as a climate. If you aren't happy, move. I still think we have the best overall climate in the country. I am not into hot summers, or humidity, or both together.

YYZ is my ringtone. I’ll burst into tears if my phone rings.

With bacon?
Not again!

For the newbs. there has not been any kind of rug pull or outright cancellation of anything impactful. Just some signs the models MAY be settling in on a more reasonable solution.
Every time I think I will never understand your posts, you make the most lucid statement of all.

ECMWF is WAY better with surface details. Obviously it has to have the correct upper level pattern... but when it figures that part out then its clearly the way to go with the surface details.
Thanks Tim. Think lowland snow for us mortals.

Just to keep it real... the ice box 12Z ECMWF showed temps still above freezing for the Seattle area at 10 p.m. on Sunday night and the wind still from the SW.
Question- Why after it was the straggler to come into line with the others, is the Euro now being used as a priority criterion for temperature forecasts? Wouldn't the others be more reasonable since they were onto the pattern first?

less snow/more cold... not sure how i feel about it. I WANT SNOW!
Every one is different. Every one. Every one shows snow, though.

Maybe so... Thyme will tell!
That's what Rosemary said

Good thing the models were better today because i was about to go be rude to some people. Was tempted to pull the wig off the old lady next to me. You see people when the models go to shittt so does the world and everything else.
Ha! I am working from home, so only the cat would have to worry/

Any more models coming out this morning or are we all set?
We could just all log off and wait and see what happens the old fashion way.
Get out the weather radio and keep an eye to the sky.

That is a Hood Canal Special. With SE sucker winds the eastside will be too dry at first.
I have a friend who is just getting moved into a house on a hill in Seabeck. Don't know the specifics, but that area performs well. He would get buried. I hope it snows.
-
That is just not true... but whatever.
But he does live very close to me at the same elevation.
Oh I believe you want us to get snow too. I just don't think you want us to be sure about it.
I won't argue with you. I tried over 10 years ago, to no advantage, and I have matured a lot in that time.
You add a lot. I am just ringing your bell.
-
Its going to snow here... that is pretty much a given.
Which, as we know, is why you are posting every warm member you can find.
We get it.
-
Quick question, why does there always appear to be a “snow hole” by tacoma in that area on maps? It doesn’t feel that Puyallup missing out on much, it feels that we get more than other places often
But you are up on South Hill. That always gets way more snow that downtown Puyallup.
512 at Canyon is a great spot for snow on a marginal day.
Edit-when the flow is the right direction.

Years ago you would post those WRF's as bait when they were overdoing, and use them to crush hopes when they were shadowing the Central Sound but snow was imminent. I have learned to ignore those even if they show snow and other models don't. I can't see why Cliff Mass uses them.
