CMC looks like the Gfs now. Does the Ecmwf rely on more planes to get their data?

Now if the Gfs could regularly outperform the Ecmwf.....

Still want to see the Ecmwf cave as well to be certain.

Okay just seems odd with the Gfs being only one showing rain but anything can happen.

Right but why are you certain it will be correct? It could be wrong this time.

We saw funnels all the time in Florida. No cause for concern to us. You could usually tell if one was going to turn into a tornado.

Gfs has Memorial Day weekend being wet, not that it won’t be dry. Give it a few days to be sure.

Portland had 0.21 yesterday so now 0.12 above normal for May.

How often does this happen? That’s remarkable it only effects a small area of land.

After this cool showery week it wouldn’t be a surprise to see warmer weather. Almost to June.

I have enjoyed the rain while camping. Gives it a more outdoorsy feeling. The best part is going outside after the rain stops and you smell the fresh air.

Never camped in the rain? As long as you have the proper gear you will be fine.

For what part of the country?

How about for precipitation?

I never understood how oceanic is in between continental and humid subtropical. Why does it extend into the middle of the country?
