Looks like the block is better on the GEFS 

GFS much colder than the 18z 

Everyone lets relax. I know there like a million posts and pages, but the Euro did this last night. It corrected itself the next run 

I don't think we really lost it, could just be a bad run. 

The block didn't float away, it just moved further east and now it's just chillin'. 

Yeah GEM pulled a GFS... lame

I wasn't a model nerd back then, but is 2008 an exception to that rule? And you would think that would change with time and all these upgrades.

I knew my son and his girlfriend were flying back to Seattle today but didn't know when.    I just checked snapchat maps and they are in Boston.   Worst connecting flight ever!   He sent me a pic of them at an airport bar having a drink dressed in Huskies attire.   I asked if they are getting comments and he said its non-stop and everyone is cheering for the Huskies.   At least Huskies gear is respectably pleasant colors.   

That's something mapquest would do back in the day. Take you the long way around.
