  1. Keep in mind this is the first salvo too. Long range continues to show additional waves of cold air coming 2nd half of the month.
  2. extremes beget extremes. Historic heat, big time flooding. Lets through a once every 30 year winter into the mix while we're here.
  3. I was only 6. I remember we had family in town that Christmas from Cali and it was a lot of fun. Huge icicles hung from the roof. We kept our bottles of Santa emblazed bottles of Coke outside in a snowbank on our deck. Good times.
  4. true. Mostly wanted to share my knowledge of Ren and Stimpy.
  5. Am I the only one who can't keep these images straight? Any way to slow these gifs down?
  6. 18z CFS looks incredible. Cold locks in and replenishes through month.
  7. I don't recall the day but remember that morning. 1st and only time I've seen single digits in this area (pugets sound lowlands). What an epic stretch. I remember waking up Christmas morning at my parents place and having to get the generator running because it had snowed so heavily over night we lost power.
  8. We're due. 08 might have been the last big Dec snow.
  9. Thank you for being a voice of reason. Easy to let hype sweep you up and keep you from objective observations.
  10. Interesting to see this come up as we get closer. CFS, GFS ext and Weeklies have had hints of an initial wave and follow up cold shot. The timing seems a little sooner, kept seeing a transition toward the 2nd week of the month in those ext models, this looks like we might get this a week earlier than those have been advertising. Still lots to iron out before we get there but will be fun watching the situation evolve.
  11. I'm following too as it runs lol. Model riding season has begun
  12. If I'm not mistaken, it sounds like the word of the day is ensembles
  13. Woah, pardon me for being late to the game here but please divulge on the Skagit river flood connection.
