I could've sworn I just heard thunder in Dupage County twice now (no lightning tho)! Snow's really coming down probably going to be approaching the 2"/hr if it keeps up!
Everything you say is contradictory every single post im counting on winter being over the 16th to the 18th period. Now you're saying were going to have cooler weather?
Agreed, I'm not going to sweat until any other model shows anything to this extent or gfs stays consistent for several runs which won't happen more than likely
LOL and that'd be a slap in the face to weatherman24 saying winter is over the 16th. Perfect time period to prove him wrong if this even somewhat verified.
you honestly need to make up your mind you keep on saying winter will be over starting the 16th then say were going to get 2 more shots of artic air thats contradicting itself.
Im 100% sure he didn't say the winter will be done by the 16th if the long range gfs runs are right temps would be way below normal and would be lucky to get above freezing for the time period your referring to.
From early looks at the HRRR model it seems like main precip shield stays north of border and we get clipped but trends next few hours will be interesting. Towards early morning it does show that SSE jog you got a good point Tom.
How did that pan out? Not too good. So I wouldn't say with 100% confidence that the countries not going to have a big snowstorm after the 16th. 3 or 4 of the biggest snowstorms in Chicago History have came after March 1st.
