I haven’t done anything ban-worthy. Just because I call Phil out on his bologna and don’t take his acronyms as gospel? Not everybody is going to agree all the time. It’s an open forum isn’t it? Have we all become ultra-sensitive?

 

Everything I have said is legitimate. Sorry, but I can’t post privileged information without permission so there is that factor involved.

 

Just because certain people on here have personal vendettas doesn’t mean you can influence bannings on your accord. If I get banned for playful back and forths then there is seriously something wrong with society. Rob went on a profanity laden rant the other day and all everyone did was give him sympathy, even though it is something he has done numerous times, throughout many years. Get real guys.

You shouldn't be even talking about privileged information if you can't post it. Why bring things up if you can't post it? Also, this isn't Survivor. Just because someone says "ban CulverJosh" doesn't mean we will ban you. If we think you or anyone else is getting out of hand, we will deal with that, regardless of if someone said to ban them or delete their posts or not.

I was in the conference call this morning. Unfortunately I didn’t get to be involved in all of it due to work but what I did hear sounded a little like wish casting almost too good to be true. I felt like a kid in a candy store. I know they have the same models as we look at but I think he’s extrapolating to the extremes. Don’t know how else to put it. The main thing I got out of it was that the pna tanks around the 10th and bottoms out a few days later. Just hope I wasn’t being duped.

Is this like a cult thing? What's this "conference call" everyone talks about? Are they the people who paint all the red in the models?

Your blurry PNA photos reminds me of UFO videos. UFO videos for some reason are always shaky and very low quality with our advancement of video phone technology. Is the forecast you post even real!? No one will know.

I think most of us are looking forward to spring. You have the clear air, new flowers, gardens, and warmer nights. No one in their right mind would be rooting for cold or snow. Now can someone share some of those warm EPS maps?

2 months until Cherry Blossoms!

My grandmother lives in San Diego. I remember about 15 years ago driving with her on a country road near my parents house and she was telling me how driving on winding rural roads freaks her out. 

 

The next year I went down to visit her and she drove me around San Diego. That freaked me out.

The thought of driving through Seattle freaked me out, but I survived driving on the outskirts of Seattle all the way down to San Francisco! The drive down on the I-5 was quite boring, but on the way back up I drove the coast and I drove through many windy foresty roads, and I even saw some Sasquatch signs.

What is the EPS saying? Has anyone checked out the CANSIPS?

CANSIPS won't be updated until Nov 30/Dec 1.

Two people joined just today from south of the border. No one else otherwise.

I was up here 2 weeks ago and the passes were bare so that has fallen in the past 2 weeks.

I went to Kelowna for a week in the last week of October and they were bare.

I have a quick question I'm hoping at least one of you could answer. I was a member of a Vancouver, Canada based weather forum from this site here:

As you can see, it's offline and has been for a while now...as in 10 months. It had this thriving community of members just like this site does and all of a sudden it was shut down and I haven't seen or heard anything about it since.

 

Does anyone know what happened or potentially where this forum is hosted now? It really sucks. Imagine if this forum just ceased to exist one day and you didn't have a backup plan in place and could no longer feel that sense of community that you get from a site like this daily, brought about by a common love for weather.

The mountains were essentially snow-free on 12-12-2008.

It was pretty mild up until December 13ish before the arctic hammer dropped.

02/03 was a dud winter though? I was in school during the early 2000s. I don’t remember many good winters. Probably damaged my conception of what the PNW was capable of.

Not sure what happened down there at that time, but I remember in '02 or '03 we scored at least a foot of snow in March.

Let us all not believe everything we hear on a weather forum..ok?
