That is exactly why I think Randy can still score! But as you said... temps are marginal at that point. Arctic air doesn't get to him until early afternoon.
The GFS shows that same moisture as snow with a progged temp of 37 degrees. Could happen I spoze,

Tough to rank as a true non event bc snow was never guaranteed, ppl in this forum just assumed we'd get lucky at some point
I got "lucky" this morning. There definitely were snow blobs fluttering within the rain drops.

The GFS is being itself again. Yeah sure, Everett is going to get 10" of snow by Saturday night and be at 11 degrees by 1am Sunday morning.

Almost all of the EPS members are south on Saturday now.
Stop being Tim please!

This run is actually a small southward shift from the 00Z run last night.
Yet at 90 hours the moisture plume on the 18Z Euro is much farther north than what the 12Z showed

Washington members look at this and have hope the GFS is right. And Oregon posters will look at this and say “nope, no way the NAVGEM beats the Euro.
Either way Portland gets buried.

Washington posters are in the denial stage but the acceptance stage will start soon.
I have no doubt at all that Portland is going to get way more snow than Seattle and especially points north.

GFS isn't trending south. Looks like a wobble to me. Consistently in the same 20-25 miles landing range.
It wobbled me from 19 inches to 26! Pure fantasy.

A wobble? Yesterday’s 18z had it near the northern part of Vancouver island at the same time.
Just a big wobble.

I have a feeling the GFS is going to cave but knowing how stubborn it has been I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t.
I'm guessing It'll cave half way on the 18Z and go full cave on the 0Z.

The NAM shows Everett to Seattle less than an inch through Friday, Portland 11 inches. It's gonna be cold though. I won't be able to make a snowman but I will be able go out and trip over a mole hill

All I want out of this is 2" of snow on the ground. Is that too much to ask? Let Portland have 15" of snow. I just want snow on the ground while it's cold and clear. Long live the GFS

The Euro shows all of the one inch of snow falls in the Seattle to Everett area by late tomorrow night before the arctic air even moves in. The inch of slop will be long gone before the cold air gets there.

Yup. You have to like where we are sitting here.
What's to like where I'm sitting? The Euro is king and it slams the door on us up here. Cold is good but dry cold is only half the glass.

This is going to a bad game for Huskies... trading TDs with FGs is a quick recipe to a blow out.
Maybe more like trading nothing for TD’s. This will be an embarrassment for the Huskies

850mb temp loop from 12Z ECMWF... basin cold is important factor over the weekend.
Gotta have that "cold pool" consolation prize.
