  1. just over 3 cm and under 1 1/2" here according to the notebook paper i used to measure snow.
  2. Showers west of Aberdeen will get their act together.
  3. Man Seattle airports are stubborn... They do not want to go below freezing tonight.
  4. Give it a couple hours, it will be just fine once it's onshore.
  5. That's not what it looks like outside. I'd say 1/2" to 3/4" already
  6. NWS posted a WSW for foothills, nothing for Seattle.
  7. Refer to my map. It's clearly rebuilding.
  8. This band looks very healthy all the way up to Everett now.
  9. To help some of our posters understand how much snow we're getting.
  10. Former snowstorms. Usually crashing onshore gives it a bit of a lift. This should help it last another hour or two.
  11. The low really needs to pull in colder air its 33/27
  12. The main band will not be gone for another 9 hours. The back edge(30 miles offshore) after which you have weaker stuff will almost certainly fill in once it's onshore.
  13. Proper snowfall in U-district now, ground almost covered.
  14. http://images.wsdot.wa.gov/rweather/rockcandymtn_medium.jpg That is snow... 5 miles away from the sound
  15. South sound is going off. Also UW roof dropped 3 degrees in 3 minutes, down to 37 and DP went up by 1. Could start snowing in 30 minutes after first returns are over us. http://www.atmos.washington.edu/weather/roofplot.php
  16. Just need the North winds die down a bit for an hour or two.
  17. Olympia gonna get nuked, radar is exploding to the west.
  18. http://www.tripcheck.com/RoadCams/cams/Hood%20River%20Exit%2064a_pid1863.JPG?1391872483 Anyway here's a hood river webcam to show everyone what a proper snowstorm looks like. ODOT seems to be on top of their game, two actual clear lanes.
  19. I hope you guys notice all the clear roadways as you go north along the Columbia river from Portland. Something is not happening right.
  20. Still virga over centralia... Anyway my guess would be heavy snow in Olympia and Tacoma, not much n Seattle. Tim might score as well.
  21. Give it a few hours and it might be the real deal.
