Looks like the ECMWF toys with some more lowland snow later next week... before we get an actual spring warm spell that includes the Seattle area northward.
Got it. You talk about the sun like its some foreign object that we are still trying to figure out. Everyone on the planet knows what the sun feels like. Its bright and hot. Been that way for billions of years!
Interesting, did some research.
People with the MC1R gene apparently get burned more easily. And I do have a partial ginger beard, as a carrier but not a full red head. Could explain things.
There are also some other genes that make the sun a bit more difficult or easier. Depends on the person.
Whatever it is... I enjoy the cold. But below freezing is usually too cold for me. I like 32-50F the best.
Who said I avoid the sun? I spend plenty of time outside. I just prefer if the sun was more filtered and we had more clouds so it isn't stinging me all day.
I can't stand cold and snow.
Experiencing snow once would be nice so I can make snowmen and throw snowballs at people, but living in such a place isn't. I may migrate/live in such places, but climate would never be the reason.
If I were to choose a US place to live, I would choose Miami.
