Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Or like some protection layer in the atmosphere has been lowered. I don't think those far south aurora borealis is beyond this. The SW, US has been a hot spot for Global Warming for a while though.. people were always saying PHX's records were Urban heat island... but the whole SW, US is heating up the same now. Keep in mind, PHX is probably going to break its March record by +4F. This is before March, Dec-Feb: The difference between 1 to 2 is almost the same as 2 to 20! And number 2 is last year! lol Sunsets never used to glow purple on the horizon like that.
