This is a dream CZ location. Let’s put it here again 5-6 days from now. -

I was 14 when I joined, 24 now. I was a super mega weenie and barely understood anything that was going on, but I thought this was the coolest website ever. It’s hard to imagine what someone under that age would be like on here lol -

Ridge trending slightly stronger, trough trending slightly west, let’s keep that going for the next couple days and we’re back to crazy cold territory. -

IIRC in Jan 2020 the GFS was mostly the only modem that was ever fully on board, I remember we kept waiting for the Euro to jump on board but it never really did. The temperatures the GFS was spitting out within 144 hours was pretty nuts. -

That block is just hanging by a thread. I feel like we’re just dying a slow death with these possibilities. I really really hope I’m wrong. -

They’ve been having a conversation for over 10 minutes now about all the prep they’re going to do. This is hard to listen to. -

People at work haven’t checked their weather app yet this morning. They’re gonna be surprised when they see that the 11 degrees they were just talking about turned to 27 since last night. -

Absolutely brutal. I don’t get how it all falls apart that fast in one night of model runs. Gets me every time -

IIRC, during last December’s blast, the ECMWF would consistently show the block being a tad stronger than the GFS leading up to the event. I don’t remember which one won out though. -

Feel like we’re going into the bottom of the 9th and we’re down by a run. Euro just needs to hit a solo shot to get us back in the game. Maybe more like 8th since there’s still some time after tonight. -

That trend of the block weakening has been worrying me since this morning. It’s gotten weaker and weaker in every run today. Need it to start trending the other direction quick. 00z GFS tonight looks similar to the 12z GFS yesterday. That run yesterday was one really bad run sandwiched between great runs, which was also caused by the block getting screwed up. pls euro -

I lost it and you can’t view quote tweets anymore but saw a few people that are pretty upset about Ryan Maue’s tweet. Other than lot just a lot of rumblings and people saying to not believe the models, which is fair but adding an extra point to be prepared or to keep the possibilities in mind just in case is probably a good idea too. -

Some people on Twitter are getting really upset for people even talking about some of these crazy runs.. People need to lighten up a bit and have some fun. -
