Well, if you only like cold why would you be upset or have a down mood at all? We have had plenty of that this year but not much snow. It seems odd you would have even gotten down at all... I am personally bummed we have not gotten more snow this year but it is what it is. I have zero expectations for the upcoming event so whatever happens, happens. I hope it gets really cold for you!!

True... If they are crap I wonder how many people will be willing to believe them though? I hope they fall in line with the GFS.

So, the GFS finally caught up with the EURO ?! OMG I am shocked! I kept hearing how much better the GFS has been... I blame the swamp down here. Swamp gas has been extra strong this year. --

UPDATE: 38 and light rain here for a number of hours... looking forward to the real potential tomorrow.

Seems like this really boils down to how the low tracks... I can guarantee many of us will be watching the satellite loops to see progression of things in real time. I know I will be starting tonight. Gonna be fun but my expectations for down here is low but I will welcome a surprise or two.

Had mixed snow and rain on my drive into work in the kent through Tukwila area this morning about 40 to 50% snow other half rain. This was at sea level.

fair enough... And yes the swamp gas is thick here. I just agree that the GFS is often out to lunch maybe this time it is not. The only snow I see happening is up north if I were to go with model consensus. Anything else is a crapshoot.
