  1. Thunder and pouring rains currently. Up to 1.34" today.
  2. That's a weird construct with the temperature being high despite low sun angles. I wonder what's causing it.
  3. I'm beginning to wonder if this is the driest it's ever been here in the last 100 years or more. 2018 and 2019 back to back driest years at PDX. Now this year.
  4. I got stuck in a snow drift on a super windy day up at Meadows in January.
  5. Rainfall stats so far for 2020 by month here: January- 12.44" February-4.29" March-4.89" April-1.99" May-6.55" June-5.20" July-0.11" August-0.44" September-3.50" Year total so far: 39.41"
  6. It's cleared up the last couple hours. Sitting at 64 with a slight breeze.
  7. It's too bad we had to start off October completely dry. It's such a wet month that having it start completely dry the first 10 days will make it much harder to reach average and alleviate the drought.
  8. Fog never really developed last night so it got colder as a result. Finally back down into the 40s, first since 8/28. Low of 44.
  9. I don't feel like there's much disparity up or down the valley when it comes to decent snow events. It's just the gorge flow is much stronger right in the Portland area.
  10. Starting out with the moon before fog develops again later. Almost hard to look at directly.
  11. Got some decent mist last night along with dense fog. Just enough to make objects damp. Still 0.00."
  12. All depends on what happens in the later part of the month. Think we average over 8" here.
  13. Looking forward to some active weather coming back soon. Still 0.00" for October despite light mist at night.
