  1. Actually just heard that and had the lights flicker. Fairly intense front tonight.
  2. Gusty winds, heavy rain, 10 degree drop and 0.44" in the last hour.
  3. Total of 3.28" rain yesterday and 0.22" today cracks 8" for the month.
  4. Really monumental rain today as we approach 3 inches towards the end. Reminds me a little bit of December 2015.
  5. Steady rain continuing and it's up to 2.64" for today. 7.20" now for December.
  6. Very mild 53 and steady rain all night, 1.38" since 11pm. Up to 5.94" for December.
  7. Cutting back on rain totals here the past few runs. 12z 90 hours out showed about an inch, 18z had around 1.2" but the 06z has it down to 12z levels again.
  8. Mild morning with a few sprinkles earlier, nothing measurable though. 41 currently.
  9. I'm just glad the pattern is more active this year overall. Last November we didn't even see 3 inches of rain, more than tripled that this year. September and October both featured convection here at least once. That September thunderstorm was the strongest/strangest I've ever experienced here. It was still really smoky from the labor day fires then suddenly the flood gates were opened and we picked up over an inch of rain in 20-30 minutes. Huge Florida type raindrops as well.
  10. At least we're going back into an active pattern. Snowpack was only able to dip back down to average this month after the early November snow that brought it up over 400% at one point. Now it's headed back above average already. And a snowstorm could show up pretty fast and unexpectedly through February. It's not always gonna be perfectly forecasted two weeks out like in 2008 (except Rod Hill).
  11. Currently overcast and 39. Lots of rain in the 30s this morning and the past few days. 0.46" brings December to 2.53".
  12. Currently 40 here and haven't hit freezing since the 8th.
  13. Pretty heavy fog and still 35 out there. Ended up with exactly an inch yesterday, which brings December up to 2.06".
