Downpour moved through around 9:30 and brought the total for today up to 1.04". 49 degrees currently.

0.65" so far.

Reminds me of Mark Nelsen's graphic the night of 1-10-17. He started out with 1-4" then later it was 1-8" once it started to really pile up.

There's a good disparity between valley rainfall versus locations in the foothills this year in particular. We've had nearly double the amount of rain at PDX so far this year. 21.97" there vs 43.47" here.

Sandy looks like it's had near constant rain this morning as well. Never did see it raining here until it started about 30 minutes ago. That 0.01" must've been just a brief shower and we weren't able to squeeze anymore out.

Same down here. It's 56 here which is 6 degrees warmer than PDX right now. Sandy is all the way up at 60 at 1000ft.

Have had 5 freezes here so far.

A mild and breezy 45 here this morning.

Ended up with 0.16" yesterday. Brings the monthly total to 3.64" which is 0.21" more than the average at PDX for October.

Currently running 12 degrees colder then this time yesterday.

Down to 32 here with a layer of fog no more than 100ft thick. Can still see a lot of stars looking straight up.

That seems to coincide with cold in the NW.

A surprise freeze seems possible tonight, already doen to 37. I'll keep you posted.
