  1. To think all of this was caused by such a tiny low- and it wasn't even THAT strong either. Color me impressed.
  2. That's wild. Looks like it was your typical windstorm down here, but up there....whoa.
  3. https://twitter.com/MorganKIRO7/status/1081876336325480449 What an interesting storm, too.
  4. Wild. This storm. Can’t believe that it isn’t even that strong compared to 2014 or December 2012, yet it has provided higher gusts than the latter and more outages than the former.
  5. Honestly it followed the same wind pattern too. Weaker winds at PDX, much stronger up there. Stay safe!
  6. Looks strong up there too. Region-wide blow, this one is.
  7. That's the only shame about the storm down here in PDX, I would have loved a dawn storm. Oh well, the powerflashes were very dramatic. This was one awesome storm, enjoy it up there!
  8. Just going to call out the operational GFS for being horrible with this storm. Wow. Peak gusts on the GFS were in the 20-35 mph range.
  9. Hanukkah Eve gusted to about that number in the W. Valley as well. This is like a mini-version of that storm!
  10. Isn’t it? Now hush, and enjoy what you can of this winter. Like legit, shut it, and deal with it.
  11. Yeah, to you they don’t, but to some of us they do. You don’t have to stay up past your bedtime if you don’t want to, you make it sound like someone is forcing you to do so.
  12. This storm reminds me of that one. Sudden uptick in winds, high gusts like this.
  13. Winds are supppsed to gust like this/bit stronger until 2 am. Lots of power outages, perhaps, and the real strong winds are just hitting Vancouver.
  14. This is really awesome, I’m enjoying it but these winds are seriously intense, The EURO did AMAZINGLY with this storm.
  15. From what people are describing it looks quite strong here in PDX right now, still increasing. Apparently transformers are blowing all over the place.
