We’ve had a couple brief sunbreaks but so far it’s stayed pretty cloudy. I’m thinking about going camping out on Anderson island for the first time since early May Monday and Tuesday. Big problem is our property is on a hill with a muddy road going down to it so it’s somewhat difficult to camp when the roads a mud pit…so I’ve gotta carry everything down the hill during the springtime. Even though we’ve had quite a bit rain recently it’s probably getting close to driveable.

Euro looks pretty nice. Might squeeze out a bit more rain the next couple days before we start to dry out. Doesn’t look exceedingly hot as long as we’re not 85+ I’m happy.

Actually more like a morning clouds... afternoon sun scenario after Monday. There are no full on drizzly days after this weekend. Its a vast improvement across the board compared to what we have been seeing and improved from its 12Z run as well.
Yeah doesn’t look too bad seems pretty close to climo for early summer.

Got down to 51 and cloudy this morning.

Euro has a couple drizzly looking cool days next week but also a couple nice days by the looks of it. Overall it stays pretty cool though through day 7.
-
Radar is starting to pick up on the drizzle fest coming.

Euro shows an additional 0.20” here over the next couple days…although we will see precip looks more scattered.

I only eat mustard right before I come down with Norovirus. I like to puke colorfully.
I usually drink a couple glow sticks beforehand.

Picked up 0.24” today not bad. Been getting some sprinkles but nothing measurable since earlier this afternoon. Up to 3.56” this month May get more the next couple days we will see.

This is probably all for the preferences thread…I have a couple co-workers myself included who love this weather. It’s better than the oppressive heat in other parts of the country is me and my managers opinion. Overall I’ve heard a ton of negative comments about the weather overall though from customers and most co-workers. Personally I carry around little buttons with weenies on them and pin them on their shirts to let ‘em know they’re being weenies.

0.23” so far today…56/52 spread today down to 55 now. Up to 3.55” this month. We’ve picked up 11.13” of rain since april 1st.

Radars filling in nicely. 0.11” so far today and 3.43” on the month. Over an inch above my previous wettest June total of 2.42” in 2012.

Rain has started up now. 0.04” might be our last real soaker of the summer but we will see.

Going to really savor every minute of today's rain. Could be the last meaningful precip here for a long time.
Exactly…have been enjoying the rain events in the first half of the month because eventually the faucet is gonna shut off most likely soon.

Forecast contest???
Might not be as interesting as late June last year this time.

Yeah I get the feeling we will get our first +75 day before the end of the month but will probably have to wait until July to get to 80. Overall things are trending closer to climo on the models after this weekend.

Heaviest precip is still down in Oregon but it looks like it could start raining a bit here soon.
-
Low of 52 this morning. Gonna be a wet afternoon.

Wow some great trends on the GFS tonight.
Definitely backing off the heat…still some mid 70s which is typical this time of year. Will be interesting to see if it’s full caving to the cooler euro solution.

Oh brother. People are so D**n touchy.
As a moderator here you should probably set a better example by not saying political stuff. If you feel a certain way you shouldn’t broadcast it here and do it in the appropriate way.

2008 or 2010 type summer incoming.
Seems hard to imagine given recent years but with the help of 1991-2020 averages maybe we can get one or two below normal months this summer (not including June).
