SO THERE IS A CHANCETrend of gradients/satellite/echoes offshore would hint that models are too far N with heavy SN tnght. But it is looking N of Seattle (maybe S Snohomish county is on far S edge). @NWSSeattle forecast looks like best bet at this point. Nowcast is best tool and will change. #wawx pic.twitter.com/xuVZTv9JWT— Jay Albrecht (@AlbrechtJay) January 15, 2020

the Wrf has snow for the south soundI don't see how almost all guidance would be too north with that feature. But we'll see.
-
What are the odds this comes In a little south❄❄

Where can I find this?HRRR now showing 2 to 3 inches for tonight here, in HRRR I trust.
Snow is not melting off too quickly today, hopefully we can get to 4 to 6 inches on the ground by tomorrow.
Picked up another half inch this morning so up to 2.5 for the day.
-
can post it pls?Higher resolution WRF showed decent snow SE of Seattle. Doesn’t completely leave King County out of the fun
-
Uw wrf showing 2-2.5 inches over tacoma by tomorrow but nobody does. Gotta be a outlier....
-
Snowing for 3 hours in Puyallup, still struggling to stick tho
-
Tim is back!!!
-
Snowing for an hour but hasn’t sticked yet....
-
4 inches would definitely make up for last night!!!!!!!!!
-
WRF gives Puget Sound a big storm as well-- gives Portland zilch though.
Could you post it pls?
-
Any accumulating snow in Seattle yet?
Lightly snowing in Puyallup

You should definitely have a disclaimer when you post anything about Tucson man. Nobody cares about the Sonoran Desert weather in this forum.
Chill buddy He just likes the weather like everybody else

Going to be a sleepless night for the south sound if this doesn’t come together
-
I’m expecting 3 feet at least️Alright all you South Sound, waiting-up-for-snow-that-never-came-so-now-im-sleep-deprived folks (looking at you luvssnow, jgin, tacomawx), let's not count our chickens before they hatch!
This is a pretty new development. Can go either way. Very encouraging signs, but we won't know until we know. Should become more apparent one way or the other by 7PM. If by then things are looking good, then count all the d*mn chickens!

Convergence zone in the south Sound?
-
North winds all the way from Bellingham to Seatle now. Very good.
How far do you think this convergence zone will make it down?
-
happy that a lot of ppl are scoring up north. Hope the south Puget sound gets in alsoIt almost appears that big blob of moisture north of the c-zone will push down the Puget Sound basin later in the night. Could be a really snowy night for a pretty good swath.

bro u got this good luck!! I went on academic probation last year for the first time ever and now I have made deans list 3 times since that. Just bug the crap out of your teachers to get the help u need❄❄Definitely having resignations about Los Angeles. I'm also applying to Indiana Univ. at Bloomington fwiw, so we'll see how that one goes. I don't plan to pursue meteorology though-- planning to major in business and minor in psych.
It's awesome that you can turn a situation around like that. I'm not a very hopeful person, but that's definitely reassuring, so thank you.
