  1. Temp just dropped to 35 in North Bend. Easterlies should be increasing now.
  2. I agree. The EURO has now dropped dew points 3 runs in a row. Seems like the GFS overdoes outflow and the EURO under-does it. Come on!
  3. Not much change. However, it did take increase outflow and drop dew points a bit.
  4. With 925s at -2 and 850s at -6 you’d think king county North will be snow once the heavier precip moves in. It will take some very heavy rates for accumulation though.
  5. It really depends on the area. I’ve only lived in North Bend for a year but it’s certainly helped more than it’s hurt. Even when we got less precip last February we had massive snow drifts and blizzard conditions. It was a blast.
  6. Interesting…HRDPS actually increases totals for quite a few areas
  7. Starting to get nervous in North Bend for freezing rain. Both the GFS and GEM show at least half an inch.
  8. Cliff’s new fascination is SNOW DEPTH. Apparently 90% of snow melts as soon as it hits the ground.
  9. How does North Bend usually do with these events? Seems like the GFS performed better than the EURO for here Sunday night as far as east wind/cold. Is that common?
  10. A “classic overrunning event” but also, don’t expect much for most areas.
  11. NWS has lowered totals in the winter storm watch for the EPSL. That along with model trends feels like this one is slipping…hopefully more cold gets pulled in than what’s modeled! (Very possible)
  12. EURO showing over an inch of precipitation for North Bend in the next 24 hours. Will be interesting to see how much of that falls as snow.
  13. REALLY hope this stays as snow and not freezing rain Wed night. This would be...bad.
  14. Snowing again in North Bend...if this verifies it's going to be ridiculous up here.
  15. Incredible in North Bend right now. Not sure how I'm supposed to sleep tonight with tons of precipitation still moving in
  16. EPSL/Foothills yet to see the heaviest precipitation rates. It's coming!
  17. EURO has it happening in the next couple hours. Should be fun!
  18. Moderate snow and a nice easterly wind in North Bend. 31 degrees.
