My favorite fast food place is Burgerville since they use local grass fed and Tillamook . But In-N-Out is a close second. You canāt go wrong with an Animal Style Double Double and! Ā

Great news! They already also going forward with the Beaverton In-N-Out location too. Iām guessing once they found out an In-N-Out was opening in Ridgefield they decided to go ahead with the project since it would be less traffic with another PDX location. Now having 3 locations in PDX would be good since all the traffic can be spread out more.
āWASHINGTON COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) - A land use application to open an In-N-Out Burger in Beaverton on Highway 10 was approved Tuesday, according to Washington County.
The proposed In-N-Out location is next door to the Chick-fil-A at Southwest Beaverton Hillsdale Highway and 107th Avenue, and will be a 3,885-square-foot restaurant with a drive-thru and outdoor seating.ā

It's more notable when PDX isn't the warmest station in the metro area. 1-3 degrees seems standard at this point.
Whatās really notable is how routinely theyāve been exceeding guidance by up to 3-4 degrees this spring. I think even Mediterranean Mark only had them at 74 for yesterday.

Ended up with a 75/45 day here yesterday. Sunny and warm with high clouds and times and a cooling breeze in the evening.
Looking at the 500mb pattern I wouldnāt have called it a setup where PDX would make a run at 80 but there it was. Looks like VUO put up a 76/41 day.

I can't imagine being north of 40 and still eating fast food regularly. Unless you have the most amazing metabolism or have time to workout 6 hours a day it seems like the perfect pipeline to obesity. Whenever I make the mistake of grabbing a McChicken or something because I'm in the hurry I always feel like garbage for the next few hours. Like eating poison.Ā

We are of the same mind this fine morning, brother Andrew.

I drive past that location every day and have never eaten there.Ā
The only one Iāve been to was in Las Vegas. It was solidly mid. No cap.

In n out is just another fast food place, I don't get the hype. Although I will say, the shakes are REALLY good.Ā
Ā
I remember hearing about when they opened that one in Keizer oregon a few years back, people waited in line for over 6 hours on the opening day.... just for a cheeseburger that tastes okay.... they could've spent a fraction of that time cooking themselves a gourmet cheeseburger at home, and it would've costed them the same amount. Humans are weird
You just got yourself on the dogsh*t listā¦

I just saw the founder of the weather channel on CNN saying that there is no global warming. One other meteorologist on the channel was saying the same thing.Ā
I looked up the founders of the weather channel. Looks like theyāre both dead.Ā

Thanks. I got pretty excited thinking about May 2010. Legendary month.Ā
Did a road trip to Minnesota with my brother the middle of that month. We camped a few nights in Yellowstone on the way. It was Ā
Also camped in Glacier on the way back. It snowed.

Itās healthier to talk about your feelings as opposed to bottling them up. Try it sometime.
Well this really backfired.

I digress, as evidenced by my non-response. Ā
We all have our own unique oddities. Sometimes those oddities are weird weather preferences, sometimes itās other stuff. No amount of debate on a weather forum will change that.
True, but I will still write long winded manifestos every single chance I get!Ā

But youāll see more sunny/70+ wx in SC than you would in WA. So what are you missing? I donāt get it.
If I was missing a 4ā snow event here but traveling somewhere where a 12ā+ snowstorm was headed, I wouldnāt be salty about āmissingā the 4ā one. Thatās just weird.
Oh sweet, another excuse to blather on about our preferences!

Pretty nice day. Cool start, then sunshine and somewhat hazy skies with some high clouds at times. 69/38 spread.
One more well above average day tomorrow before a cooler and wetter pattern moves in for at least a little while.

Ended up with a low of 38 this morning. Looking forward to the wetter pattern coming later this week.

Wow! The 00z GFS is something else! Dumps on the Oregon cascades, gives me 4" of snow, and is not warm by any means. We will be BUILDING the snowpack, rather than melting it in the coming weeks. I do not worry about Oregon having any water problems this year
Apparently one run is just as good as it happening!

62/36 spread at VUO today.
61/39 spread here.

Last night was clearer than I expected though. Scored a low of 39. Today has been lovely with puffy clouds, cool breezes and sunbreaks. High of 59 so far. Will probably hit 60-61. Tonight could be on the chilly side again at least.
Mid-week and beyond is starting to look ok for some appreciable rainfall Ā

Guess Iāll do my write up on yesterdayās much maligned fropa. Ended up with a 70/48 day here yesterday when all was said and done. Mild night the night before last with all the east winds, had an overnight low of just 54. Sunny with gusty east winds the first part of the day with temps quickly rising to 70 by 1-2pm.
Clouds were moving in in earnest by 3 or so with a sharp switch to gusty SSW winds. Had some spots of light rain and drizzle with the front but didnāt amount to much. Was in the lower 50s by sunset, cleared out in the evening with a midnight low of 48.
