I feel like the sticky 'Hot replies' is a joke at this point as it's quite literally the only topic that's having any discussion since nobody does threads anymore on the main page.
It almost feels like this should just be another form of social media as it's quickly heading there if not already and wouldn't look out of place of Twatter.

Just another wasted few weeks of our already waning wet season. By the third week of June its pretty D**n rare to get any regional systems, especially these days.
Granted there's a chance of rain at times this week, but the way things have gone lately I would put a lot more stock in PDX hitting 90 next Monday than picking up more than .25" in the next five days. Ridging at day eight is a lot more dependable than rainfall at day two sadly.
Lots of ridging in a warming world. Who would've thunked?

Maybe we need blue arrows to cool things down.
They're called ice arrows but thanks for trying!

Den of wolves is a good way to describe this place if you like anything besides year round sun and warmth and maybe a token snow event or two
It's why you need to do this glitch and get infinite arrows! But you can only do it at Eventide Island for some odd reason. It works nowhere else!

Hi, everybody.
I have been lurking here for a while and finally joined. I recognize some of you from Mark Nelsen’s weather blog. I have been active on and off there for a long time.
I love to complain about hot and dry weather. Yep, another one.
Memorial Day week is not looking fun. Next Monday and Thursday hold some promise for meaningful rainfall.
Here’s a depressing stat: PDX has not had more than .25’’ of rain in a day since Valentine’s Day. Hard to believe.Good luck in the den of wolves! Be sure to have plenty of bomb arrows or electric ones. Those are always fun and you can never have too many arrows!
The glitch only works in that area for some odd reason. You can try but they won't respawn anywhere else that has a treasure chest.

I wonder if we can go a decade without a sub-freezing high here? I don't think that feat has happened since the Medieval Warm Period.
Now at like almost 1600 days since our last one. By far the longest stretch on record...fuckking depressing and I want to move my family so bad.
Welcome to the club! I'm with ya. I think we are in another Medieval Warm Period in the making. Of course we will still have some 'cooler' periods but more warm with these cooler periods being our old 'average'.
We need to get used to this and prepare accordingly or water wars will be our future though WA will somehow be spared until we all move up there and bring our drought with us.

Looks like heaven. I remember that stuff from Feb 2019.
Approaching the longest amount of time I've ever gone without experiencing snow in some way. I've never gone 3 straight winters without at least seeing snow falling somewhere.
But global warming is a right wing conspiracy theory and we are heading into an ice age! You must retract your statement or be censored by Lord Breitbart!

If I wanted 40s and 50s and drizzle all summer then I would move to Sitka or Juneau.
Juneau's record highs are actually the low 90s. A good place to see weather stats is WestJuneau.com a weather station on Nowell ave in West Juneau though he stopped doing his log after 2018 but has archives back to 2003 or so. And weather stats back to the early 80s. One year had almost no rain in the 80s. Which is highlighted in his rainfall records.

Let’s hope the euros right over the next 10 days. Euro is a decent bit wetter than the gfs for WA and OR.
The Euro is usually right. The GFS (Garbage Forecast System) is a joke. Remember the Euro is a 'paid' model where GFS is 'free' by the government. The EURO I think is Weather Bell's subscription: so of course they have to have a higher standard or they'd lose gobs of customers whom rely on it .
The 'Free' model you take it or leave it no need to improve it unless a major push happens. You know how government red tape works. It's like Android vs Apple. One is like monkeys on drugs making it.

Ever noticed ridges lead to ridges and troughs become ridges? You can't escape warm and dry in the new climate.

If it were January this pattern would be quite chilly.
It also wouldn’t be January.
So if Pooh could fly like a bee he wouldn't be a bear then so he wouldn't care then. Bears like honey so I'm a Pooh Bear so I do care so I'll climb there.........

0.17" of rain today. Pretty weak sauce.
You really got that much? What was it like when it came down? We just got a few sprinkles of this strange water stuff several hours ago. Too bad we don't have a rain barrel to collect any of it.

It'll be here before we know it. Time for a 30" storm this year.
Don't worry the long range GFS will always throw us a few bones and take it away to a ridgier solution. Ridges bring ridges and troughs bring more ridges.

Only 32 days until daylight starts to wane once again!!!! I can’t wait for Fall.
Even less then that for the big E3 and Breath of the Wild 2 on Nintendo Switch 2/Pro/insert goofy name here.

The sun is here...
Where was it before and is water really wet or is that an urban myth? Should I just pay attention to my flying?

Well if anyone one here has more then one brain cell it's not rocket science to figure out you should be saving money to flee from 'fires' this year. Last year should've been a big wake up call and if that's not enough I don't know what is!

Looks like we have some exceptional (for recent times) min temps coming up later this week. The ECMWF and GFS are both advertising back to back lows in the 30s for later this week. I've only recorded 3 lows below 40 after May 20 in the 20 years I've lived here and those were only either 38 or 39. As it is, even the recent mins have been chillier than normal in favored locations.
We continue to see situations this year where we are getting chilly air masses with fairly dry northerly flow.
YES!!!!!
