I'm going to go with T-1" for the valley floor and PDX. Up to 2" above 500' for places like the West Hills and South Salem Hills. Going to forecast 2-4" of snow here overnight. Then maybe another T-1" for PDX metro with the deformation band tomorrow and T-2" here.
I didn't believe it when I saw it on the WRF last night, but just woke up to about 1/2" of snow. Looks like the cold air aloft overswept the fading deformation band that the low over California spun up.
The Thursday system is a little weak and meandering on the 06z GFS. Doesn't look like a big low land snow producer. At hour 126 some colder air starting to approach the border.
