Quite a few mPing members reporting snow or rain/snow mix in the puget sound area. Wishful thinking, or something happening? Nothing on radar.

That means we're going to be measuring snow in feet and freezing rain in inches.

When I lived in Mukilteo I experienced that a few times, actually. Its not as cool as it sounds. You think you can walk on snow but if there's an inch of ice under it, good luck.

That looks like the precip holds off til after dark too for Seattle northward, or right around there, which provides another wrinkle.

Oh right, I forgot GFS doesn't take road temps into consideration.

That just means its coming in at the mouth of the Columbia and going to pack a punch. GFS will finally pick it up and get right about 6hrs prior to landfall.
