Do you think the ICON does steroids?
Everybody was dogging my love for the ICON yesterday. Today, it's their saving grace.

Oh well. As I said earlier today, the good news is that this is going to bust so hard for Oregon that we don’t need to worry about freezing rain.

Even for QPF the ICON is pretty much hot garbage even within 24 hours-- respect your choice but I'd recommend you break up with the thing
But she’s so hot.

I was going to say this. It never seemed as ridic as the GFS this past week but now that the first part of the upcoming pattern has sort of come into agreement among the others it has really started pooping the bed. Or its amazing and all the others are dog and we're wasting our time here
The ICON is my ride or die. Pretty much just for QPF though.

That's the one saving grace-- models have been persistent with some pretty great low level cold out of the Gorge. Unfortunately the nature of our overrunning systems means I'd hedge bets on it being ZR.
Exactly. I would prefer it not to be below freezing for that reason. The south wind will win out over the gorge outflow for most of the metro area.

I will gladly take 18 inches of snow in one day over that.
Ya think?! I will take 60 degree rain over that. Well, I love all rain to be fair. I will take anything besides a tornado or other very extreme wind event over that.

The good news is that this will likely bust so hard for Oregon that we won't need to worry about freezing rain. I would take now snow and no freezing rain over 15'' of snow and .50'' of freezing rain.

CFS gets pretty ugly (warm) after our fun event late next week.
All models do. Drinks with umbrellas in them and wife beaters and swim trucks for Christmas.

Looking like no matter what happens early/mid-next week, it’s going to be warm leading up to and for Christmas.
