  1. That's the insurance policy; I do think (and hope) no one in the Puget Sound ends up totally snow-less.
  2. Barely flurrying now. I have at most a light dusting. I hope this isn't it! At least it's frigid outside.
  3. Light flurries here in Ravenna/Roosevelt! Convergence starting to drop south into the city now.
  4. I have been at a bar since 6:30. This has been an insane game. The rug pulls and pushes honestly mirror that of the models this week.
  5. Let’s go Messi! And that arctic front…
  6. It still amazes me that we are able to model the weather as well as we do… despite our high expectations.
  7. Interesting, it’s still largely snowing here. Occasionally mixing and then a huge burst of snow returns. It’s kind of fun to watch.
  8. It’s very pretty out right now. Getting a little bit of accumulation on raised surfaces.
  9. It is now lightly snowing here in north Seattle. All snow, was not expecting this!
  10. Don't worry, some Alaska 737 will send a little jet blast toward the sensor and bump the high by 4 degrees. I am still bitter about that. I definitely didn't drunkenly tweet at NWS Seattle about it...
  11. What're the fox weather group spellings? Something like MOHRK NELSOHN
  12. Oh, it's definitely not over yet. Just enough time for one more good rug pull and push.
  13. Looks like SEA got down to 28. 33 currently there. Similarly colder at my own home. Lots of thick frost out there this morning. Thin high clouds blocking the sun to the south.
  14. SEA got down to 30 this morning. It was very frosty when I woke up, with a decent amount still around at 10 AM. Not bad! Hoping it hits the upper 20s tonight.
  15. I’m going to bed before the EPS hits. It’ll be nice to dream of the 2’+ that the Euro delivers
  16. Hmm, my mom has her holiday party Saturday eve. I really hope snow doesn't cancel it. I missed it last year with Omicron.
  17. I was quite surprised by moderate rain... didn't have my rain jacket. Oops!
  18. Such is life living in the PNW lowlands... I don't want to imagine the next truly terrible year because weanieness will be off the charts coming down from the high of the past few years.
  19. It's beginning to feel like the leadup to last week's event. Who's ready for the inevitable 33 degree slush!
  20. Let’s not even talk about the weird 90s missing snow reporting…
  21. Light chunky rain in Roosevelt/Ravenna. Once in awhile there’s a very deformed flake. I am not too hopeful. I need another 100’ elevation. Usually my location completely misses out in these marginal events, unless it’s convergence zone based. So at least I’ve done better than usual.
  22. Light plain old sprinkles now in north Seattle. Hoping for snow shortly!
