We could use a haze or smoke emoji and a fog emoji. I think other people have made the same suggestion in the past.

I'm burned out on the haze and smoke(no pun intended). We need to get these wildfires put out. A wetter period with cooler weather and higher humidity should do the trick.

Mountainous regions will see the first snowflakes of the season. Snow levels will fall between 4000 and 5000 feet Saturday and 2500-3500 feet Sunday. Additionally, the significant cooldown will result in freezing temperatures. Now is the time to prepare for more typical late-October conditions.

Hey, a 2000 or 2010 type November is very possible. 1985 and 1955 both might be a stretch unless you have a Delorean and a capable scientist friend.

The analogs are interesting. Both 1975-76 and 1956-57 were 3rd year la niñas. A couple of dud ninos, 1991 and 2004, are also on the list for good measure. I don't know if it means anything or not. It's just interesting.

It's possible. Rug pulls are pretty common, but more fall like weather is coming.

We honestly need cool and wet more than cold and dry at the moment. Cool and wet is the most likely scenario anyway.
