    The EUG records are royally screwed up from that era, which sucks. I religiously followed that event from start to finish in the entire valley. Many tears were shed and a few bottles of booze were consumed.

    Come on man. Eugene had 4-5 inches of snow and it lasted for 3 days. I've been hosed worse.

    It's been pouring off and on for the last hour or two. My gutters are currently overflowing. At least I have tacos.

    You're probably right. I went to look at the snowfall records for that timeframe and of course it was "missing".

    The storm on December, 2004 was a region wide storm. If I remember correctly, it was the first time that chains were required on I-5 during its entire length in Oregon. I was in the bay area visiting relatives and we had to wait 2-3 days for I-5 to open in northern California. Weed had 4 feet of snow.

    I meant coburg. Maybe too much internet for me today. Btw, one of the local tv mets was storm chasing and the pic was taken from his passenger.

    You are correct. It was from I-5. The funnel was near Creswell.

    There was an additional funnel near Eugene. This was taken yesterday from Beltline going east.

    Yay! More thunder. Lots of downpours too. I'm sure it has rained at least an inch at my location, but the airport gauge isn't showing anything near that.

    I've seen at least 10 in addition to random flashes. Of course, I'm a dolt and am outside watching from my lawn chair.
