  1. Looks like Eastern Washington is going to roast. 90° on tap.
  2. ECMWF is all over the map as to how this pattern eventually breaks down. This morning it had the low centered over Oregon. 12z has it coming in north of Washington. Probably end up passing well to our north and just adds some cooling but no rain. Fingers crossed.
  3. We may have a few nice days but me thinks around the 29th that low just sits over Oregon and probably gives us more clouds and gray while the rest of the country basks in glorious summer weather.
  4. Never fear the ECMWF comes to the rescue around the 29th.
  5. The ECMWF definitely wants that ULL to start crashing the party about the 28th or 29th. If the timing were to speed up then perhaps we get back to building higher heights for the 4th of July. GFS is off in it's own world and has the low centered over Minnesota. Man it's performance has be awful. American made.
  6. Headed to Chelan in a couple weeks. Probably have a few nice days and then back to shitty clouds and rain before the 4th.
  7. I must have missed something? A refresh of below normal temps? We haven't had a single sunny stretch in almost two months and certainly no one on this blog would say we've been anywhere near normal or even above. Are you jinxing an upcoming dry and warm stretch? I've seen how you jinx things in the winter. Delete your post........LOL!
  8. yeah, that's not gonna last - give it a day or two for the clouds to be added and some rain
  9. The pattern we have been in for what seems like an eternity will eventually ease and some nice summer weather will take hold. It will feel like a much shorter summer this year though as we have lost so many potential days with 70's and sun to endless clouds and extremely wet weather. A very strange pattern we've been in for sure.
  10. What do you think someone saying Climate Change is? It's a very political word and phrase. I was just updating on the new terminology.
  11. Just canceled my trip to Yellowstone and Jackson. I guess they had a 1000 year rainstorm that washed out all the roads in the northern loop of the park. Thank god for good cancellation polices. But D**n, have you seen the video. Some serious damage to the roads. Wow!
  12. It's not Climate Change anymore. The new slogan is Climate Crisis from the lefties.
  13. Mother Nature is doing it's part in the PNW to thwart "climate crisis". Hell, maybe the forest fires start a month later this year? I don't know but I doubt what we are going through now will have much affect on anything. Living through a historical moment. Let it rain man. Let's break some D**n records so I can tell my grandkids some day about that one spring where it rained for three straight months. Weeeeeeeeee!
  14. I’ve had to cut my grass so many more times this year with all the rain. That only increases my contribution to the “climate crisis” firing up the gas mower. Learned this new phrase a week ago. Global warming no more. Now it’s Climate Crisis. Is it gonna rain soon? Been dry all day D**n it. We need more rain.
  15. Let's set a record baby. Let it rain! And I wonder, still I wonder, who'lllllll stop the raaiiiinnnnnnnn?
  16. I appreciate the info. I did not know that. Thank you.
  17. That looks great! You should look into the vegogarden containers. They are really nice and similar to what you have but there is no pressure treated wood involved. That stuff is like poison and can leach into your fruits and veggies. Plus, over time wood just doesn't last around here. Your garden area looks amazing and I bet you have fun harvesting and eating fresh fruits and veggies.
  18. I really like the muggy weather we've had recently. I guess we can't be muggy with out lots of moisture in the air.
  19. My blueberry bushes love all the rain. Tons of berries this year and they are nice and full and probably the biggest berries I've have in many years. Raspberries are the same. Loaded with fruit. Tomatoes on the other hand are not so good. Had lots of flowers the last few weeks but the fruit is not setting. Lots of bees in the yard and can only think it's all the soaking rain and lack of warmth. Good news is lots more rain is on the way. Yay trees!
  20. Headed to Chelan area around the last week of June. Could be the coldest dreariest trip the family has taken there in many years.
  21. I think we are going to break the June rainfall record by June 20th. Looks really juicy and wet coming up. Yay trees!
