I wasent paying much attention to this but just checked 12z GFS and it's pretty close. What is ORD record? 81 inches? I think we could break number 1 with this if I am not mistaken. We are at 75 inches and 3rd place right? Get mixed up with meterological and seasonal snowfall. I think seasonal would be 89 inches is record.

EURO became furthur south/weaker with mid-week system. Ah that energy being help back and progressive nothern stream wave killing this potential.

For most part agree but would not doubt another storm prehaps or a few weak snow systems into early April. What a winter here. Will never be forgotten! 6 of last 8 winters have been awesome.

18z GFS still hinting it but more of a weak surpressed EC system. Not looking like a big dog possibility right now regardless as piece of wave hangs back.

18z NAM bring quick system up this way as S/W gets cut and a piece runs into the northern stream. A quick mod snow event here or close by.

GFS popping weak OV low again. A bit of a amplification here we could get a more organized system running close here.

Wed is looking a bit interesting. Skilling mentioned this at noon. GFS hinting weak OV low and brings light precip here. I noticed CMC Money posted this morning and EURO pretty big. Something keep an eye out over next 24-48hrs.

Man we done pretty well since 2007-2008 winter except the last 2 winter. We sure made up for it this winter.

Do they count seasonal snowfall only during meteorological winter?

Later tonight we celebrate 2nd place possibly. Only need to beat 71.2 and we are at 67.4 (ORD)

Yeah NAM keeps going furthur south with that band each run. Will see what happens with GFS. Not feeling to good about this right now t.\o.

Why?

NAM a bit south and more narrow with band of snow tonight..Good hit N IL with a solid 8-9hr of mod snow. Puts Chicago right in the 6-8 band.

They are pretty close if not in the 6+ over here.

Not really up here. 6+ band is more narrow but looks more filled in far N IL north of I-88. Primary wave not much in cold sector.

It be interesting if GFS/NAM continues to trend wetter and expand more with 2nd wave...2nd wave becoming more noticable.
