Funny that's what i was thinking to... really spends some time in iowa. Wouldn't surprise me to see a little tighter and impressive storm on euro at 0z. And tyvm for the details/
-
where did it end up at 78 and 84? I only have 72 and 96.. Thanks much
-
thanks dude! could tell it wasn't going to go all gfs at 72. To be honest i pretty much expected the euro to show something like this.. it doesn't seem to have the radical run to run changes like the gfs every 6 hrs. doesn't mean tonight it couldn't more impressive to the nw.. or it could just settle in on something around this.
-
my guess the path it takes getting there is more nam like snow maps than gfs for nw wi.
-
euro and gfs get to roughly same place at 96
-
waiting on 96.. almost seems like it might pull a gem and occlude east? little timing difference between nam and euro at 72 lol.
-
10" more than last yr at this time in Madison! Remember when it was always congrats madison back in 07/08/09
-
that occlude bs keeps popping up here and there..
-
yeah i was pulling my hair out trying to figure out why this turd didn't want to cut....now what will euro do.
-
i thought you would be all over that lol.. no euro for me.. see ya's for 6z and 12z
-
thats what had me pulling my gray hairs out why it just can't gosh darn cut. it has it in it.. always has. now realize it.
-
and i had that trip basically dead in my head 3 hrs ago and I was OK with that.. ugh.
-
now thats more like those fantasy runs that got me sucked in to this storm 2 weekends ago.
-
not buying that occlude kick east to that extreme on nam
-
they better be able to blow snow to make it in to march
-
after tonight I'll be joining your team if the models dont get juicier up north.
-
shame this wont realize its full potential to wind up and crush the arrowhead. dryslot will be 69 spectacular over me
-
Yeah thats why i came home friday from ashland area.. needing 6-12" up there if they can manage to save some ice base

Winter 2016 Medium to Long Range Discussion; 5+ days out

sweet 4 rainers in a row. and who knows how many southern wi had b4 that. -
could use a little more warmth before cool down.. lake breeze and clouds sorta put a cap on the extra niceness it could be.
-
thanks, tom and saints.

how many more rainers to follow on euro. -
better chance of that happening than a nw shift is my feeling.. can't give up yet. heck ive been bird dogging this storm for ever.. this was to be a big weekend for me but that all changed with 50's and60's all the way up north for almost a week. So this storm was showing up infantasy land a long time ago and ive been on its tail ever since. in the end it looks to of escaped where i need it. o well.. used to it now.. 3rd crap winter in a row,

castle rock would be a nice area to sled and they could sneak a nice one out of this. is this going to be a wetter snow initially at least?
-
how far north of moneyman would i need to go? not interested in going to far nw past the dells.. hoping to stay around 2 hrs from southern wi. not too far nw from money could luck out.
