A gross 73 here. A fukin hate this crap in march and I couldn't make my Alaska trip because of issues with leaving work. Locking myself inside my shop at home where it's cool and working on some projects.

Not by me.
"Overrated" is such a subjective term anyway, especially when you're talking about large states that have a ton of variability in scenery, terrain, climate, population centers, etc.
As I've said before, I agree that Denver is an overrated city. And people have finally got the memo and stopped moving here in droves...we actually have had net emigration over the past couple years.
Most people that say over rated have not explored it much. We rented a airbnb at 12k feet, hard to do that anywhere else in the lower 48. We stayed off the busy highways and did deep exploring and that state has so many stunning areas. Just an amazing place.

My son just had a seizure a couple of nights ago. Sick feeling for the people watching. I can't imagine how it must have felt in the days there wasn't medication to stop them.
I'm so sorry you have to go through that.
He was waiting for the stupid insurance to approve it or something, ridiculous!! I remember our first cat scan my wife was waiting on the insurance to OK, we waiting in the office a couple hrs and i could see she was scared and waiting was making it worse. I finally walked up the the office and said do the D**n scan now and i will write a check. No cool to make people wait for important medical things like this.

This summer is going to suck donkey balls. Fully expect it’ll be the hottest summer ever for the lower-48, and by a wide margin. Worst possible alignment of seasonal forcings.
Good chance there won’t be any cool departures to speak of, except maybe June.
Well this sux, why in the hell anyone would love this is clinically insane.

That would be awesome.

Looks like some places this weekend could end up with a 72/35 type day or in that ball park. These trough to ridge transitions can kick out some wild diurnal spreads.
Hopefully nothing more than 72, We are hoping for mid 60"s out here at most.

I'm not sure what his point is here. We had a very cold starting March too.

Great climate up there. Even colder than Winthrop a lot of times.
My low on my station for January was -34.4! If it was that cold there on a hill i know the deep canyon below my place was -40 no problem. I have seen 20 below in that canyon and 5 below at cabin.

We had some crazy weather at the cabin, Both days it would be sunny and 45 and then a storm would roll in, drop the temp to 30 and lay down 2 inches of snow with a bunch of wind. There is between 6-18 inches of snow up there.

Ya know normally I stay out of this children's drama you let continue on here but what I don't understand is you continually complain about some members on here and how they just need to take the weather how it comes and I agree with this, but you post these non stop posts like this to add fuel to the fire. The only thing that makes sense is you enjoy the drama and you look forward to stirring the pot. Why? And there is no sideways comment you can make to this to try and wiggle out of the obvious. This is nothing more than poking drama at a few members. Even me engaging in this is embarrassing because drama is a terrible force.

Haven't you got the memo? Cold spells are the only form of desirable weather and it is only permissible to model ride for cold and snow. Deviation from this rule constitutes trolling.
Right on man!

Lol what a freak show this will be, Mike is 58 but still incredible Dangerous and in super human condition. Jake is a new guy that has limited experience but has heart and is in great shape.
But... He has never been in the ring with a man that can hit like Mike Tyson and for 30 seconds of each round Mike is still very dangerous. If they are allowed to go all out i say Mike Knocks out the young kid in second round.

Doing everything i can to try and make this trip happen to valdez, They look to get crushed in that area with storm after storm. Should be fun. About 4-5 days should do it and be enough time to avoid the heat wave here.
