Meso models do show that band filling in the seattle area for a few hrs. Its the upper edge of the deformation band that is a little further north than previous solutions.

I just realized that band heading west extends clear over the mountains into eastern wa. You can now see it backfilling

The trend for continued cold is outstanding to say the least. Really looking like a good event late week into weekend and from there I'd imagine we will probably have another cold few days or more and come out if this at some point with a over running event. I'll bet i do some catching up here on the rest of those big totals out there this weekend.

This might be the coldest and snowiest for some since 1990. That's cold wind and snow at once.

Buddy just called me from his place near my cabin. -8 with 40mph winds. Minus 40 wind chill.

This morning this day is why i love weather. 23 degrees and blowing snow here. 35mph so far. Omak 10 degrees 46mph. Bellingham 16 degrees 56mph. 3.5 inches here. Looks like the radar is going to start sagging to the south soon.
