In n Out is great. Imagine Dick's drive in, but everywhere across the SW instead of just the Seattle area. I had my first burger from them at the central Hollywood location on a road trip just out of high school. It's impressively good for a fast food joint.
Closest one to here is in either Roseburg or Keizer.
Guess they decided to skip the Eugene/Springfield metro area.

In n out is just another fast food place, I don't get the hype. Although I will say, the shakes are REALLY good.
I remember hearing about when they opened that one in Keizer oregon a few years back, people waited in line for over 6 hours on the opening day.... just for a cheeseburger that tastes okay.... they could've spent a fraction of that time cooking themselves a gourmet cheeseburger at home, and it would've costed them the same amount. Humans are weird
You know who makes a surprisingly good milkshake? Shari's.

Looking forward to going on a vacation in a couple weeks. Hopefully it'll be a lot of fun. My wife and I never got to take a proper honeymoon after getting married in May 2021, so it's finally a trip that just the 2 of us have had the opportunity to take.
Headed to New Orleans then down to Costa Maya. Got a pretty good deal on the trip cuz on the last one, I got knocked over by a big door and hit my head on the last cruise I went on, so they gave me a discounted balcony room & $200 in on-board credit, then gave me the casino upgrade so now I've got $600 to use for blackjack.
Honestly, super grateful to be able to do things like this because I don't get to very often for a lot of reasons. I often wonder how I would feel when just dropping in and changing over $5k in chips each night and seeing the pit boss's reaction. Those are the ones who get the freebies.
Even though I won't ever get to that status in my life, I know I've gotten to experience some awesome shitt and I'm forever grateful for y'all's friendship and to the people that helped put this RNS cyberware on my brain.
44F and clear in downtown Springfield.

Good to get as much cool weather and rain as we can get...before the inferno takes over in the coming months.

I haven't watched the Blazers since like 2006, then they signed that Comcast deal and now ROOT Sports which my TV providers don't pay for.
But college basketball is way more fun to me anyway.

Nice that will be fun! I’m going on an Alaskan Cruise in about 2 months. It will be pretty cool to witness the long days up there since I’ll be going right after the summer solstice.
It's such a trip. I was in Anchorage early last July and it's so bright even at 2-3AM.

14 days til I go on another cruise. Got $200 onboard credit from them smacking me with a door on the last cruise and when we registered our info they gave me another $600 in onboard credit as a casino package but I can still use it for drinks and such.
Leaving out of NOLA this time.
